Turkish coffee Culture.

This labor-of-love beverage is often shared in company with a friend or loved one. A Turkish proverb states that "a conversation over a good cup of Turkish coffee will last you 40 years".

Components in a Turkish Coffee Set.

Cezve

(400-600 mL.)
Traditionally made from a conductive material like metal in order to disperse the heat evenly when brewing over a stove

Coffee Cups

(75-100 mL.)
Small portions, traditionally made from porcelain with a metal cover.

Water Glasses

(200-300 mL.)
Turkish coffee is commonly served with water, though many sets do not include a designated glass for water. This feature is implemented into the Dostluk set to ensure the a premium experience.

Candy Dish

Turkish delights are commonly paired with Turkish coffee to balance the bitterness of the coffee with the sweetness of a candied treat.

High Fidelity White Models

By creating white models of each set piece in order to study the ergonomics and silhouette of each piece without the distraction of color or materiality.

Process:

Using automotive putty and primer, the 3D printed models were repeatedly step sanded and primed to achieve a near flawless finish before the final coat of matte white spray paint.
